Vanessa Walilko
Vanessa has always been fiddling with her fingers. At age nine, she took a beaded jewelry class and her life was forever changed. Captivated by the design possibilities of working with tiny beads, she began to teach herself how to make everything she could dream up, stumbling upon old beading techniques and inventing some of her own.
As her love for the medium grew and her skills evolved, Vanessa decided to make her dream a reality, founding Gianessa Designs in 2006. Gianessa Designs was created to showcase her love for the eclectic and the unusual, the weird and the mystical, and anything else that piques her interest. Her mind is always on creating the next epic project.
Against nearly everyone else's better judgment, Vanessa has devoted her life to art and creation. Vanessa currently works for two jewelry designers, Kathy Frey and Rebeca Mojica, and has found that artists make excellent bosses. |
